Text: Acts of the Apostles 4:12
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
INTRODUCTION
We live in a world full of opinions, beliefs, and supposed “truths.”
But God’s Word is clear: there is only one way to salvation.
Peter declared this boldly, filled with the Holy Spirit.
And today, this truth remains the same:
👉 Salvation has a name — Jesus Christ.
1. THE NEED FOR SALVATION
Before understanding who saves, we must understand why we need salvation.
- Sin separates humanity from God
- Good works cannot erase sin
- Religion cannot save
We all need salvation.
2. THE EXCLUSIVITY OF JESUS
The Bible says: “there is no other name”
This means:
- No other path
- No other mediator
- No alternative
Jesus is not one option among many.
He is the only way.
There is no salvation outside of Him.
3. THE POWER OF THE NAME OF JESUS
The name of Jesus carries:
- Authority
- Power
- Salvation
- Deliverance
His name:
- Heals the sick
- Frees the oppressed
- Forgives sins
- Transforms lives
His name is power in action.
4. A PERSONAL DECISION
Salvation is available to all, but must be received personally.
It’s not enough to:
- Know about Jesus
- Hear about Him
- Attend church
You must:
Believe
Repent
Surrender your life
CONCLUSION
Today, you must decide:
- Will you trust yourself?
- Or trust the only One who saves?
Only Jesus saves.
FINAL PRAYER
Lord God,
Thank You for Your living and true Word.
Thank You for revealing that salvation exists and that it is found in Jesus Christ.
Father, I recognize that I need You.
Forgive my sins and cleanse my heart.
Today I declare that Jesus is my Lord and Savior.
Write my name in the Book of Life.
Strengthen my faith, guide my steps, and help me live for Your glory every day.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
