God has a purpose for each one of us.
We are not here just to watch life go by, as if we
were mere spectators.
God has a purpose
for each one of us.
And the questions we should ask ourselves are:
Am I living God's purpose?
Am I making a difference in this world?
Am I being a light in the midst of darkness?
Do I help people without asking for anything in return?
Are the words that come out of my mouth words of blessing or curse?
Do my actions glorify God or bring shame to the gospel?
Can people see Jesus through my life?
Let’s reflect on these questions.
Today's message is about God's purpose for us.
The purpose of Christians in this world can be understood in several ways, depending on biblical teachings and personal faith. Here are some key aspects:
Loving God and Others – Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39).
Spreading the Gospel – Christians are called to share the message of Jesus Christ, making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).
Living as a Light in the World – Jesus taught that His followers should be "the light of the world," reflecting His love, truth, and righteousness in their daily lives (Matthew 5:14-16).
Serving and Helping Others – The Bible emphasizes caring for the poor, feeding the hungry, and showing compassion (James 1:27, Matthew 25:35-40).
Growing in Holiness – Christians strive to become more like Christ in their character, rejecting sin and seeking righteousness (Romans 12:2, 1 Peter 1:15-16).
Bringing Glory to God – Ultimately, everything a Christian does should glorify God, whether in work, relationships, or daily actions (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Each Christian may live out these purposes differently, but the common goal is to reflect Christ’s love and truth in the world. What do you think?
